Perth County OPP has charged a Petawawa driver with racing a motor vehicle after they were caught speeding more than 82 km over the limit in Perth County.
The incident happened on July 15th at approximately 7:30pm when an officer on patrol stopped a vehicle on Perth Line 20 after it was found to be travelling 162 km/h in an 80 km zone.
As a result a 39 year old has been charged with racing a moor vehicle.
A 30 day license suspension and 14 day vehicle impoundment has been initiated. They are scheduled to appear in a Stratford court at a later date to answer to the charges.
