Perth County OPP were called in to assist Stratford Police with a crash involving a pedestrian.
On June 29th at around 8:30pm, police received a report of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Waterloo Street South at Douro Street.
A grey Nissan was heading westbound on Douro Street in the left turn lane when it struck the pedestrian who suffered minor injuries and was taken to Stratford Hospital.
The roadway was closed for several hours but eventually reopened.
The driver of the Nissan was charged with Failure to Yield to Pedestrian.
