The Avon Maitland District School Board will be welcoming Dr. Michael Ungar tonight to help parents and students.
The virtual meeting is to help those cope with the stress which has been brought on by the pandemic. Mental health, emotional, psychological and behavioral problems have been present in children who have to adapt to different styles in learning, especially in younger students.
Dr. Ungar will help show resilience is more than a child’s ability to overcome challenges, but with the help of a community to help children and families have access to tools and resources to support such resilience.
