Dr. David Williams, who has been on front of the province’s fight against COVID-19 is set to retire.
Williams will be replaced by Dr. Kieran Moore who serves as the chief medical officer of health for Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox and Addington Public Health.
Williams most recently recommended schools to reopen for the last month of the school year, though was ignored by Premier Doug Ford.
Williams will retire on June 25th.
