A dog survived a plummet of 50 feet down the Elora Gorge this past Friday.
At around 4pm, the dog was rescued with minor injuries with the help from Centre Wellington Fire and Rescue.
The dog and its owner both needed to be rescued after falling with the man taken to Groves Hospital as a precaution who also suffered minor injuries.
Centre Wellington Fire says its important to keep animals on a leash while visiting the Gorge this time of year which can feature various slipper spots close to the edge.
