Perth East ON- On August 9th 2022 at about 1:30pm Perth County OPP officers conducted a traffic stop on Line 47 in Perth East.
Perth County OPP Officers received a traffic complaint on Perth Road 131 in the Township of Perth East.
The investigation determined that the male driver was a disqualified driver resulting from the previous Criminal Code driving convictions.
He was prohibited from operating any motorized vehicle on a roadway.
As a result, the 35-year-old male of Ridgetown has been charged with operation under the criminal code, possession of Methamphetamine, and failure to comply with a probation order.
A 45-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per stature.
The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer the charges.
