A summer camp is kicking off for high school students who are interested in getting into a career path in healthcare.
Discovery Healthcare has launched to provide a unique learning opportunity for those looking to get into medicine, nursing, paramedics, or other healthcare professions.
The camp is run by first and second year medical students from Schulich Medicine & Dentistry at Western University and is being offered in multiple communities over one week including in Stratford with the Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance.
Various skill sets will be taught including clinical, talking with healthcare professionals, discussing pathways to various professions and more.
