A London man has been sentenced to 16 years in jail for attempted murder of a female.
38 year old Derek Boyd was sentenced Tuesday afternoon in connection to a stabbing which occurred near a St Marys school in February 2020.
An agreed statement says Boyd stabbed the victim while she waited for roadside assistance.
A judge has also ordered Boyd to not communicate to the victim and placed a weapons ban for the remainder of his life.
