Huron County OPP and West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforacement continue to investigate a fatal motor vehicle collision which occurred Monday morning north of Dashwood.
At 11:53am, Huron County OPP, Huron County Paramedics and Dashwood Fire responded to a motor vehicle collision on Bronson Line between pepper Road and MacDonald Road.
First responders all arrived to a head on crash involving a pickup truck and SUV. The driver of the pick up was transported to hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The deceased has been identified as 52 year old Matthew George of Bluewater. The 35 year old driver of the SUV remains in hospital with undetermined injuries.
Bronson Line remains closed between Zurich-Hensall Road (Huron County 84) and Dashwood Road (Huron County 83)
