Huron County OPP have charged a Cambridge resident with dangerous driving after an investigation into a traffic incident earlier this week.
On Tuesday officers were called to a residence on Orchard Line in Central Huron to investigate a report of dangerous driving and a failure to remain at the scene of a crash.
Upon arriving they spoke with witnesses and learned the accused nearly drove into a young toddler on the property.
Following the near miss the accused collided with a parked motorcycle and fled the scene.
Police later located the drive rand charged a 52 year old female of Cambridge with dangerous operation, failing to remain at the scene of an accident and two counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
She has since been released and scheduled to appear at a Goderich court on May 30th.
