Perth County Reads is welcoming back celebrated author Dan Needles with two author readings this month.
Perth County Reads is a community wide program all around reading, having conversations, connection and a shared love for literature where residents are all encourage to read the same book and take part in discussions and various events.
This year’s title is Finding Larkspur by Dan Needles who is most known for Wingfield Farm series.
Ashlynn Bell, Coordinator of Community Connections with the North Perth Public Library says the title this year does a great job capturing exactly what it’s like living here locally.
“His book Finding Larkspur is amazing, I think it really hammers home a lot of the experience that people growing up in Perth County have. I think he does such a good job of capturing what our community goes through.” said Bell.
The next author event will be in Milverton at the Perth East Recreation Complex on October 24th.
The final author event will take place on October 25, 2025, at 2:00pm at the Pyramid Recreation Center.
Tickets are free and available at the North Perth Public Library and Perth East Public Library.
