Former Mayor of Stratford, Dan Mathieson has been appointed as the chair of the Ad-Hoc Grand Trunk Renewal Committee.
Stratford Council voted 10-1 to give Mathieson the role for one of the city’s largest projects for the future growth of the Cooper Block, now called the Grand Trunk Master Plan.
Officials are looking at the site for a range of urban planning and design such as parking, open space provision and the street network.
The committee for the Grand Trunk Renewal group will send out application forms for members who wish to make up the 12 member roster in the next few weeks.
