It’s been a few years since North Perth has been able to recognize a local team for their performance on the international stage.
The Listowel Cyclones U13LL-1 Team had a season for the history books which saw them head to the Niagara Region in January for the International Silver Stick.
The team went all the way to finals where the secured a 4-1 win over Lambton Shores and were crowned champions.
North Perth recognizes teams who win an international title or All Ontario Championship with the players and staff receiving North Perth Medallions presented by Mayor Todd Kasenberg and Deputy Mayor Doug Kellum.
