CUPE workers have voted in favour of ratifying a tentative deal struck with the provincial government.
The Canadian Union for Public Employees says 73 per cent of its members who voted agreed with the ratification, adding just over three quarters took part in the vote.
The union which represents around 55,000 education support staff recommended to ratify the vote which will see an annual wage increase of 3.59 per cent.
While ratified, CUPE has still expressed their disappointment as the deal does not include staffing guarantees.
