The Human Trafficking in Wellington and Sexual Assault in Wellington Campaigns wrapped their grant terms by releasing impactful videos on both topics.
The campaigns were run in partnership with Victim Services Guelph Wellington, the Wellington County OPP and Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington.
The segment on Human Trafficking illustrates the experience of a victim who is engaged through social media. The video is informed by front-line workers who support survivors of Human Trafficking to ensure it offers a realistic representation.
The segment on Sexual Assault is a virtual text interaction between a victim and a friend. In it they try to determine what happened to her the night before. The segment also highlights the Perpetrator’s text exchange with a friend, who is aware of this criminal’s horrific behaviour.
The videos are available below, or at www.htinwc.com and www.sainwc.com as well as on the Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington’s YouTube Channel.
