Crime Stoppers Guelph-Wellington has been recognized for projects developed in Wellington County.
Crime Stoppers has received top honours for Media and TV for a population up to 300,000 by Crime Stoppers International.
The recognition comes from their video created for the #HtinWC awareness campaign entitle Her Story which is an animated video of youth groomed for human trafficking after an online friendship.
CSI gives out awards annually with Crime Stopper programs across the world being invited to submit to receive the awards.
