The Listowel Wingham Hospital Alliance announced that Huron Perth Public Health has declared a Covid-19 outbreak at the Wingham Hospital Inpatient Unit.
A total of 5 patients and no staff have been identified as part of the outbreak.
The hospital is working closely with Public Health and their regional partners regarding admissions, transfers and repatriations in response to this outbreak.
The emergency department, ambulatory care, operating room, and diagnostic imaging continue to be open and specialist visits will continue to occur.
There is currently no inpatient visiting permitted at this time.
