A COVID-19 outbreak declared at the Stratford General Hospital has been ruled over.
The outbreak, first declared on December 15th had affected the Integrated Stroke Telemetry Unit.
The unit has been reopened to admissions and transfers with family and caregiver presence being restored.
Erica Jensen, Manager of Quality, Patient Safety and Infection Control says while the outbreak is over, it can’t be stressed enough the importance of layering up to prevent the spared of respiratory illnesses circulating around Huron-Perth.
