A COVID-19 outbreak which was declared at the Stratford General Hospital’s medicine unit on July 6th has ended according to the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance.
The Medicine Unit has now reopened for admissions and transfer with family and caregiver presence on the unit also restored.
President and CEO of the Healthcare Alliance, Andrew Williams says immediate precautions were taken when the outbreak was first declared which included testing in team members and patients.
