A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared on the 1st floor complex continuing care unit at the Listowel Memorial Hospital.
The outbreak currently is affecting 2 patients and 1 staff member.
Admissions are no longer being accepted on the complex continuing care unit as the hospital works alongside public health.
Patients who require admissions will be admitted to the 2nd floor medicine unit or neighbouring hospitals.
Emergency department visits, ambulatory care services, operating room procedures, diagnostic imaging and specialists visits will continue to occur.
Only essential visitors will be permitted on the complex continuing care unit until further notice.
