All 19 immunization clinics for COVID-19 will reopen today in the province after slowing down over the holidays.
Many criticized the decision to have immunizations slow down over Christmas. The Ministry of Health says hospitals had requested a change in the schedule for proper staffing levels on wards and in long term care.
The province said five of the 19 vaccination clinics were open on Sunday with 10 open on Monday. Figures show around 11 thousand of the expected 90 thousands doses of the Pfizer vaccine have been administered so far.
