Wellington County’s Housing Services Division is hosting a free Affordable Housing Development Workshop Series next month.
The workshop aims to provide guidance on developing new affordable housing designed for local municipalities, elected officials, housing providers and community agencies.
The need for affordable housing options was hit as a primary objective from the 10 year housing and homelessness plan community consultations.
Warden Chris White says these workshops can turn ideas into housing projects which meet the needs of our communities by bringing people together and sharing practical knowledge.
