Wellington County council on Thursday took time to honour the recipients of the 2024 George Bridge Economic Development Influencer Awards.
The awards were created honouring former Warden and Economic Development Committee Chair George Bridge.
Rick Whittaker was named the Community Economic Development Influencer of the Year Award with Laura Emery named the Young Professional Economic Development Influencer of the Year Award.
Jeff Duncan, Economic Development Committee Chair says they are celebrating community leaders and highlight their important work which supports local economic development efforts.
