With Mapleton councilor Martin Tamlyn set to step down from council to take a job in Centre Wellington, his seat is set to be ruled vacant.
Council passed a motion this week to appoint a new councilor with a call out for an appointment from applications.
Tamlyn will start his new role as Climate Change Coordinator on September 30th.
Council will make the appointment decision from the applications in their 2nd meeting in November.
