Part of council discussion tonight will be that of the Listowel Kin Trail Bridge replacement.
In 2021, the municipality received trail development funding off a successful submission to the Investing in Canadian Infrastructure Program.
Grant funding has been used for the creation of a 600m section of trail north of Line 87.
Further look has shown the remaining grant funds will nt be enough to address the bridges repairs.
While no cost decision is expected to be done tonight, a recommendation to council says to direct staff to go ahead with a preliminary design to replace the Kin Trail bridge as well as a cost estimate to brought to council as part of the 2026 budget process.
