Listowel’s Corey Conners has been named Honourary Chair of the Fortinet Cup Championship.
The PGA championship will take place in September at Deer Ridge Golf Club with the Corey and Malory Conners Family Fund being the official Fortinet Cup Championship Charity.
The fund, helps underprivileged children in both sports and education.
Conners first joined the PGA Tour in 2018 following stints as a member of Canada’s PGA Tour and won the Valero Texas Open in 2019.
Conners is ranked 32nd in the world as in 6th in the International Presidents Cup standings.
