One of the findings during this pandemic has been the shortage of PSW’s in the workforce.
There were glaring shortages at most long term care facilities across the province.
Conestoga College is taking on that shortage by trying to double the number of graduates of the program over the next few years.
For that reason they are going to begin training at the Stratford campus.
Right now it’s on line learning, but they will start lab work on campus in November.
Right now there are 6 students from Stratford registered in the program.
