Community Living Stratford and Area has reached a tentative deal with the union representing staff.
A vote will be held until Thursday at 4:30pm with a strike deadline moved to Saturday at 8am.
A statement from Community Living Stratford Executive Director Trevor McGregor says employees were asked to vote on an offer which was rejected by union membership.
Details on the offer have not yet been released.
The organization has 190 unionized employees.
