On October 3rd at around 9:30pm, a Wellington County OPP officer stopped the operator of a commercial motor vehicle on Wellington Road 18 in Centre Wellington.
As a result of investigation, a 39 year old driver from Lynden has been charged with Driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle with Improper License and Failing to Complete Daily Inspection Log.
An Ontario numbered company from Lynden has also been charged with No Valid Commercial Vehicle Operators Registration Certificate, Overweight Vehicle and Failure to Apply for Permit on Becoming an Owner.
Both the driver and business will appear in Guelph court at a later date.
