North Perth is once again gearing up for Coldest Night of the Year with United-Way Perth Huron.
The fundraiser locally will put proceeds back towards HOPE Links, offering a place for those in need to access services such as a meal, laundry and emotional support at the Christ Anglican Church in Listowel.
Lee-Anne Andriessen, Chair of the North Perth Community Committee with Untied Way says they’re already off to a smashing start for their goal.
“Our goal for Coldest Night of the Year is $68,000, we’ve reached about 35 per cent of that. We’re on our way.” said Andriessen.
North Perth’s Coldest Night of the Year gets underway on February 25th.
