Wellington County OPP on November 14th worked alongside Waterloo and Guelph Police Services and the Ministry of Transportation for a Commercial Motor Vehicle Blitz.
The safety blitz took part on Wellington Road 86 and Elmira Road with the purpose to inspect vehicles for compliance with safety regulations, ensure proper cargo securement and address equipment violations.
A total of 38 CMV’s were checked with 16 being placed out of service with 38 charges laid.
