Clinton Raceway held a successful afternoon of harness racing yesterday featuring 2 divisions of 2 year old colts in their Prospect Series.
Icey Shadow made his career debut winning the first $7200 division driven by Ian Moore. The time tied a track record for 2 year olds. He led the field that dropped down to 5 by seven lengths. He finished in 1:57 flat.
The second $7300 dollar division race went to Messiah who dropped out of the Ontario Sire Stakes Grassroots competition to score a maiden breaking victory with Doug McNair driving.
The raceway is back in action next Sunday for Harness the Hope Day, a fundraiser for break cancer research and support programs.
