The Clinton Raceway will soon be open for the season. Training will be available the track 7 days a week from 8am-12pm.
As the season begins, a new condition has been added for the start of the season.
The Seniors Pace will be offered in two classes with the first offered for 11 year olds and up that are non-winners of $5000.
The second class is for 11 years and up who are non-winners of $10,000. Earnings are based on what has been earned prior to May 1st.
In a release, Assistant Race Secretary Stacey Smith says they wanted to offer a spot for the older horses to race for the summer.
Live racing returns to Clinton on May 22nd with a 1:30pm post time.
Legends Day will take place on June 12th.
