The Clinton Public Hospital is looking for more workers in the emergency room.
The hospital is asking patients to register for care in the department no later than 6pm as of Thursday September 16th.
Due to shortage of staff, patients will longer be accepted at the Clinton hospital past 6pm.
While the emergency department will remain open from 8am-8pm, the shortage of staff will limit the amount of time it can take patients to be treated which will require those to access other emergency departments in the region.
The shortage of staff has impacted Huron-Perth hard, including on August 1st when the whole department was closed at the Clinton Public Hospital.
