Minto council got some good news when awarding tender for a culvert replacement project which came under budget.
Roubos Farm Service Ltd will take the replacement of culvert over Racoon Creek in Clifford at a cost of $383,803.
The bid was the lowest submitted out of four, with the highest from Van Driel Excavating of Clinton at $466,000.
The town had budgeted around $700,000 in the project, which Roads and Drainage Manager Mike McIsaac says there overall are happy with the results for awarding the bid to Roubos.
