It was 3 years ago in 2018 when the Humboldt Broncos were on the road to faceoff against the Nipawin Hawks in the SJHL Junior A league when tragedy struck.
A transport truck collided with the bus killing 16.
A memorial service will be held online from the City of Humboldts Facebook page. The service will be held at 4:30pm MDT. (6:30 EST) A moment of silence will occur at 4:50pm, around the appropriate day and time when the tragedy occurred.
On Monday, the Humboldt Broncos Memorial Committee unveil the “Broncos Tribute Campaign” to build a memorial centre complete with an ice surface, gallery and fitness centre.
