Acting legend Christopher Plummer passed away at the age of 91 on Friday.

While Plummer had great connection and success across Broadway and Hollywood, the actor also held a strong presence within Stratford, preforming at the Stratford Festival. Plummer first appeared at Stratford in 1956 during the production of Henry V.

As Plummer’s success grew he made various returns to Stratford for productions such as King Lear and Hamlet.

Plummer held a strong acting resume with Academy, Emmy and Tony awards.
