Chris Roehrig, Director of Education with the Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board is retiring.
Roehrig will hang up his hat officially on February 24th 2025 who was first appointed Director of Education in 2019.
Roehrig says he leaves with a tremendous sense of pride, gratitude and humility, saying its been an honour of a lifetime to stand on the shoulders of the giants before him and walk beside staff in service of the community.
Among some accomplishments include moving the district into the top 20 per cent in the province for student achievement, gains made through the strategic plans and navigating through the pandemic.
Upon retiring, Roehrig will retire as one of the longest serving directors of education in Ontario.
