Huron County OPP have laid charges on a London resident following a collision which took place near St Joseph last week.
OPP had reached out the public to help locate a driver who was seen leaving the scene of a single motor vehicle collision just after 6:30am on May 5th who was found walking away holding a blanket and appearing disoriented.
Police were able to find the driver near Crystal Springs Road and after investigation had learned the male had broken into a commercial property near the collision scene and stole items from the business.
The driver was assessed and released from hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
As a result, a 37 year old from London faces a slew of charges including Careless Driving, Fail to Remain and Break, Enter a Place, Commit an Indictable Offence.
