The results from the Centre Wellington online survey on what to do with St. David Street St. Andrew Street to Edinburgh are in and the public want what’s there left as is.
The results were presented at the most recent May 17th Committee of the Whole Meeting by Centre Wellington.
94% of respondents were from the Fergus area and just under half of them want the layout of the main street left as is after construction is completed.
Next popular at just over 27 percent want parking reduced to just St. Andrew to St. Patrick with boulevards and sidewalks widened and third at just over 15 percent support adding separate cycling lanes among other changes.
