Centre Wellington will be purchasing its first ever Electric Zamboni.
At a council meeting earlier this week staff recommended the approval of a purchase of an electric Zamboni ice re-surfacer from Zamboni Company Ltd to the amount of $149,407.
The electric Zamboni includes zero emissions, is cost efficient and offers quiet operations.
Council gave the green light for the purchase which is expected near the end of quarter 1 in 2025.
