The Township of Centre Wellington offered residents tips on snow removal for when the white stuff returns to the area.
For Township roads they say pushing or placing snow onto the roadway or a ditch is now permitted under the law.
They say it falls under the the Highway Traffic Act.
On Boulevards there is a garden policy for areas surrounding sidewalks to prevent planting or putting ricks within 18 inches as it could cause damage sidewalk clearing equipment or sweeps.
And finally basketball and hockey nets must be stored off the road to allow safe snow clearance.
They must be 3 meters from the edge of the road or curb.
