Centre Wellington Mayor Kelly Linton made the announcement yesterday that he is not running for re-election in the fall.
The announcement was made at the Centre Wellington Sportsplex as part of a Town Hall the Township was holding to discuss projects.
Linton was first elected as a Councillor in Centre Wellington in 2010. He made the move up to Mayor in 2014 and then was re-elected in 2018.
He is serving as the County of Wellington Warden in his final term in office.
