Last week, Centre Wellington council couldn’t even get 10 minutes into their meeting.
Council could not get a vote to approve the agenda on April 19th which then quickly brought the meeting to an end.
Discussion first started when an item regarding attainable housing was requested to be broken into 2 separates parts to discuss and vote. But the vote came down to a tie which shot down the motion.
The agenda then had to be approved which again resulted in a split vote.
Council will meet in a closed session to start before opening up.
