Centre Wellington will be begin a pilot project to drop the speed limit in an urban neighbourhood to 40km per hour.
The project will begin next year after council gave the green light on October 16th.
Manager of Engineering Adam Gilmore says the neighbourhood would be selected by staff later this year based on concerns from the public, OPP and other stakeholders.
The pilot program would run for the entire year with staff reporting back with their findings and recommendations.
