Central Huron is continuing work to control noxious weeds on a list of municipal roads and spot spraying where these weeds have been found.
A full list of roads have been identified where herbicides will be applied in rural areas along a highway which the public has general right of access but the application does not include any area intended for pedestrian access or areas where the public is invited to stop such as rest areas of picnic areas.
Pesticides being used includes Clearview Herbicide, Hasten NT Ultra Spray Adjuvant, Navius Flex Herbicide, Gateway Adjuvant and Method 240SL Herbicide.
Work will continue up to July 7th.
