Drayton Entertainment received a generous donation from area residents that will serve established, current and future audiences.
The half million dollar multi-year commitment from West Montrose couple Brad Carr and Susan Wagler will go in support of Drayton Entertainment’s new Youth Academy .
It is aiming to serve as a hub for its expanding arts education initiatives as well as operations and programming support as part of a not-for-profit supporting recovery efforts following the devastating Covid-19 pandemic.
In return for the donation the St. Jacobs Country Playhouse Auditorium will be named the Carr Family Auditorium.
