A COVID-19 outbreak continues at Cargill’s meat processing facility, this time on Watson Parkway in Guelph.
As of Tuesday 20 workers have tested positive, currently with 4 active cases since the outbreak was declared last month. A previous outbreak at a Cargill plant on Dunlop Drive was declared over by WDG Public Health after all 188 cases were cleared.
Protocols are in place to ensure support and so production can continue at the plant. Protocols include PPE, physical barriers, temperature testing and visitor restrictions
