The COVID-19 outbreak at Listowel Caressant Care Nursing and Retirement Home has been linked to another COVID related death in the region.
Since the start of the outbreak, declared on January 10th 16 residents have died, 14 on the nursing home side and 2 on the retirement side. This is the 46th COVID-19 related death in Huron-Perth since the start of the outbreak.
Outbreaks at Seaforth Manor and St Marys Memorial Hospital also continues with smaller outbreaks at Fordwich Village and Hillside Manor are ongoing.
