Canadians Will Not be Heading to the Polls This Season

Liberals survive confidence vote with a 306-0 pass of Bill C-4

It’s official now. The Liberal Minority government has survived the confidence vote.

With the end of the CERB, MP’s voted to pass Bill C-4 which helps workers who are still jobless or left unemployed due to pandemic. It includes an increase to benefit payments and paid sick leave for workers who test positive for COVID-19.

The decision was turned into a confidence vote by the liberals which passed with a 306-0 vote.

Had this vote been voted down, Canadians would all be heading to the polls.
